MAKEUP MONDAY
Happy Memorial Day! Definitely appreciate all of our veterans who have fought for our freedom. To everyone headed to the beach, get a tan for me please! It is Monday so get your makeup bag out and lets play. Most of you are off so you have time to play if you want to and there is no time like the present. This was a super quick look so for all of the busy women who don't have a bunch of time to dedicate to their look, this one was under 8 minutes and under 9 once the eyelashes went on so this is a good quick one if you are pressed for time.
We learned last week that colors are my friends along with this yellow hair so I felt like indulging on this good day. I felt more comfortable and secure in the red going good with this yellow hair than I was about the pink mixing good with the red eyeshadow but all of it worked. I think had I used a primer on my eyes the red would have been loud and then we would have been looking at some challenges but since I didn't go that route it was soft enough that the blend was top notch (to me anyway). Red, yellow and pink were all friends this day that played nicely together.
My darker brown and the yellow that I put on my eyes are from the eyeshadow palette that is in every black girl hair store at least on this east coast. The red color is apart of a palette from NYX Cosmetics. The IL MAKIAGE concealer fills in these good dark holes under my eyes praise the lord. My blush is my two tone eyeshadow palette SHAINA B MIAMI B. Brazen Eyeshadow Duo I received from my IPSY subscription. The Lipstick was a mixture of my Hot Pink color from Maybelline Colorstay Matte Lipstick and then my Cream Pink was by NYX Cosmetics. I had curled my hair before hand so the GLOW ON 5TH
Plush Skincare Headband was clutch.
Hopefully you enjoyed this, share it with somebody. I just want to give options and inspiration to females who need to do something but don't wanna do everything. I will see you all Friday for Fashion Fridays! Have A Great Week!
