MAKEUP MONDAY

It was a beach day and I was feeling green. Apparently it was a hit because there was some interesting things happening on the boardwalk when I was walking around. I initially thought that I was going to just wear this new green eyeshadow that I got from my IPSY subscription but I was not a fan of the shade by itself. It was like a forest green and I was not with it. I was feeling "island-y not forrest-y. I wiped it and I knew the winning combo would have something to do with yellow. You mix yellow with a color like green...or blue......red...etc and it becomes exotic. Since I don't do full face etc my flex comes on the eyes because that is where I like to paint the peacock....you know just color her in a little bit. The darker green mixed with the yellow and then I took the shimmery silver color that came with the green palette and put in the corner. It worked out pretty well. I think next time I will shoot to put some yellow on my lips to to create the same effect on my lips that my eyes had. For this to work though you will definitely need eyeshadow primer that way the yellow pops. I used NYX eyeshadow primer and I also used two different yellows to help it pop one of which was also by NYX cosmetics.

I saw this post on Instagram where the lady put her Concealer on the way I did here. She did one side like I usually do mine which is just under my eyes and then the other side she did as I did here and I liked the balance on her so I decided to try it out and I think she won me over. It creates kind of a smoothness all the way around. If I did them side by side you would probably be able to see it better but ......I don't have that kind of play time and I'm not washing it off my face because I only do these videos when I'm going somewhere 😂 and I don't get ready early enough for those kinds of shenanigans ....church say yes 😆 . I would encourage you to try this though. I think I'm going to make the next few videos my little island theme 🏝 . Mixing the yellows with these other bold colors. I don't do full face but I does colors honey.....church say yes. Alright Ima get out of here.
